Studioroomkr ("the App", "we") is an educational language-learning service at studioroomkr.com that publishes its own HelloWords vocabulary short-videos. The App connects to TikTok — through TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API — to publish these daily videos to our official HelloWords TikTok accounts. This policy explains what TikTok data the App accesses and how we handle it.
When the owner of a HelloWords TikTok account authorizes the App through TikTok Login, the App receives, under the scopes that account grants:
user.info.basic scope;video.publish and video.upload scopes.This data is used exclusively to publish HelloWords' own original educational short-videos to the authorizing TikTok account and to display upload status. We do not use TikTok data for advertising, profiling, training models, or any purpose other than the posting workflow described above.
TikTok tokens and account information are stored locally on our own restricted server and are not transmitted to, sold to, rented to, or shared with any third party. Data is retained only while the App is in use for that account and is deleted when the account's authorization is revoked.
An account owner can revoke the App's access to their TikTok account at any time in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions (Apps and websites) → Manage app permissions. Revoking immediately stops all access, and we delete the associated tokens.
The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly process data of anyone under 13.
Our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms and content-sharing guidelines.
